Apple announces major Sneaky Sasquatch update and unveils four new Apple Arcade games for January

Apple Arcade is closing out the holiday season with new content for one of its most popular titles and fresh additions to its growing catalog. Sneaky Sasquatch, a fan favourite since its 2019 debut, is receiving an expansion on December 16 through the Harvest to Harbor update. The new update builds on the game’s recently introduced farming system and allows players to grow and harvest mushrooms, access a dynamic Crop Market, monitor peak prices and time their sales to maximise profits. The update continues the game’s focus on open-ended play and strategic decision-making.

Players can also find Sneaky Sasquatch at select Apple Store locations this season. Families can join Today at Apple sessions, including Kids: Draw with Sneaky Sasquatch, where children can create festive party scenes on iPad using drawing tools and stickers. The programme runs every weekend through January 6, offering hands-on digital art activities. Visitors can also try the game at the Apple Arcade bay in participating stores.

Beyond Sneaky Sasquatch, Apple Arcade is adding more titles to its holiday lineup. Recent arrivals include SpongeBob: Patty Pursuit 2, PowerWash Simulator, Cult of the Lamb Arcade Edition, Subway Surfers+, and NARUTO: Ultimate Ninja STORM+. In January, the service will introduce four more games: Cozy Caravan, Sago Mini Jinja’s Garden, True Skate+, and Potion Punch 2+. Cozy Caravan offers a single-player journey focused on crafting, trading and exploration across scenic landscapes, while Sago Mini Jinja’s Garden brings a 3D open-world experience for younger players. True Skate+ and Potion Punch 2+ expand the platform with skateboarding simulation and time-management gameplay.

Apple Arcade is priced at Rs 99 per month with a one-month free trial. Customers buying new Apple hardware can access three months of the service for free. The service is also part of the Apple One Individual plan at Rs 195 per month and the Family plan at Rs 365 per month, both including a one-month trial. A subscription provides access for up to six family members and includes more than 200 games, with availability varying by device compatibility and region.
