Acer launches Chromebook Plus 14 and 15 laptops with Gemini AI support: Price, features and more

Acer has expanded its Chromebook lineup with the new Chromebook Plus 14 and Chromebook Plus 15 in India. The new laptops are designed to offer a comprehensive performance to users in enterprise and education sectors. In terms of features, the laptops come with Google Gemini AI support, IPS display and Intel and AMD processors.

Acer Chromebook Plus 14 and 15: Price and availability

Acer Chromebook Plus 14 and Chromebook Plus 15 price starts at Rs 35,990. Both laptops will be available for purchase via Acer exclusive stores, Acer online store, Amazon India website, Croma, Flipkart, Vijay Sales and other retail stores.

Chromebook Plus 14 features a 14-inch Full HD IPS display and comes with Acer ComfyView technology and offers a multi-point touch. The Chromebook Plus 15 comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display, also with Acer ComfyView technology and touch variants.

Both models are powered by Intel and AMD processors. The Chromebook Plus 14 offers users the option to choose between Intel Core i3-N305 and AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors. The Chromebook Plus 15 is equipped with up to an Intel 13th Gen Core i7-1355U processor.

These laptops support up to 16GB of LPDDR5X SDRAM and up to 512GB of PCIe NVMe SSD storage. They also come with built-in Google apps, AI features, and dual DTS speakers. The models include two built-in microphones and a Full HD webcam with features such as Temporal Noise Reduction, HDR, and support for 1080p video at 60 fps.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 and security features such as a discrete H1 Trusted Platform Module (TPM) solution, camera shutters for privacy and Kensington lock.

The Chromebook Plus 14 and 15 are built for durability with military-grade reliability tests and feature a 53Wh 3-cell Li-ion battery. The company claims that these laptops will offer up to 11 hours of battery life on a single charge.
