Paris Olympics 2024 India's results on Day 2: The second day at the Paris Olympics belonged to Manu Bhaker, who secured a bronze medal in the women's 10m air pistol event. The feat also saw her become the first Indian female to win an Olympic medal in shooting. If we switch focus to the 10m air rifle women's and men's qualification event, there were good news there as well. Ramita Jindal and Arjun Babuta finished inside Top 8 in their respective events to qualify for the medal match.

PV Sindhu and HS Prannoy started their campaign in Paris on a winning note with both securing straight games win over their opponent. Nikhat Zareen too brought smiles on the face of many Indians by producing a convincing 5-0 win against Germany's Carina Kloetzer Maxi in women's 50kg round of 32 boxing bout.

However, there was a big shock in men's singles table tennis as Sharath Kamal went down against a lower-ranked opponent.
