Before the five-match T20I series against Australia, the Indian cricket team's T20 openers, Shubman Gill and Abhishek Sharma, shared a humorous moment during the team's photo shoot.

In a widely shared video, Abhishek and Gill, who grew up playing cricket together, were shown jokingly making fun of Gill's joyous gesture.

Abhishek was heard making light of Gill's look during the photo shoot, claiming he had never seen someone open their mouths so wide. In the video, Gill strikes a joyful pose while Abhishek continues to taunt him while filming the scene off-camera.

Online fans instantly became aware of the pair's friendship and enjoyed the lighthearted and cordial banter between the two openers.

In the forthcoming T201 series, both players are anticipated to play significant roles at the top of the order. Abhishek's aggressive batting frequently set the tone for the team, and the two had previously opened together during India's successful Asia Cup campaign.
