More about the new exclusive offerings… Sri Lakshmi from Lladro.Goddess Sri Lakshmi The figurine makes a perfect choice for classic and beautiful home decor in festive season and comes from Lladró’s well-known gloss porcelain collection. Inspired by Indian festive traditions like Diwali and Dussehra, Lladró has depicted the goddess bedecked in jewellery and dressed with fine gold-embroidered red clothes. Lladró has created Goddess Sri Lakshmi with profuse ornamental wealth. Made in gloss porcelain, bright colours and varied glazes are being used to decorate her while the golden luster has been used in the bowl of coins.

Lord Shiva from Lladro.Lord Shiva Lord Shiva’s attributes are finely worked and defined with a host of details including the trident which is the symbol of his power, the drum which marks the beat of the cosmos, the snake that Parvati tied around his neck to stop him from swallowing poison, the bands of Rudraksha, a sacred seed with medicinal powers, the bun in his hair from, which the river Ganges flows and the god intercepts as if falls so that it does not flood the earth. This decorative abundance embraces everything from the bracelets to the ribbons around his hair as well as the flowers that decorate the headdress and the garland, all handmade petal by petal. The figurine is rounded off by a base with a special shape that provides room for the optional piece Lingam, a sacred symbol used to worship Shiva and to overcome any situation that impedes personal growth. It is worth noticing the bright greyish blue coloring of the skin, covered by ashes to convey the fact that death is the ultimate reality of life. In addition, it boasts many complex decorative techniques, like golden luster, underlining majestic character of Lord Shiva.
