As on November 18’ 2016, Mustard Seed has been sown in an area of 50.8 lakh hectares in the ongoing Rabi season in the country. This year sowing is up by 19.5% than the same time of last year. In Rajasthan, total area covered under Mustard Seed is 16 lakh hectares, in Uttar Pradesh 7.15 lakh hectares and in Madhya Pradesh 69,000 hectares.By: Skymetweather.com
