A video of Indigo passengers singing a devotional song while playing the dholak onboard a full flight has raised eyebrows on social media. The undated clip emerged on the social media platform X two weeks after the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
An Indigo passenger is seen playing the dholak while singing the popular bhajan Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram in the clip. Other passengers were seen clapping or singing along with him, although some remained mute spectators.

“Hey Indigo, are you running an airline or the second compartment from the engine of a Virar Fast local?” asked X user Sanjay Hegde. “They won't let you keep your laptop bag on your lap, but they're okay with drums and dholaks?” another questioned.
“Pray and celebrate in rational places. An ordinary civilian aircraft is not the appropriate place. And if you want to pray, do it silently without disturbing anyone or flouting aviation rules,” a third person wrote.
It is not clear where the Indigo flight was bound, but connectivity to Ayodhya has increased rapidly since the inauguration of Ram Mandir on January 22. The Uttar Pradesh city now has direct connectivity to eight cities via SpiceJet.
