A businessman in Uttar Pradesh recently caught his househelp using her urine to cook food for him and his family. The matter came to light on Monday after the businessman quietly recorded her activity in the kitchen to find out why his family members were suffering from unexplained liver problems and were not recovering despite treatment.
The incident happened in the Crossing Republic area of Ghaziabad, and the accused has been identified as Reena from Shanti Nagar, Times of India reported.
In the video, Reena is seen shutting the kitchen door before urinating in a container and using it to prepare food for the family.

Armed with the video, the businessman approached the police who apprehended Reena on Monday night. During interrogation, she initially denied any wrongdoing but fell silent when she was shown the video.
Meanwhile, her employers are in shock since she had been working with them for eight years. They said they trusted her completely until their unexplained liver problems prompted the businessman to investigate her. The incident has left them terribly disturbed, they added.
The businessman's wife has filed a case against Reena with the police and the assistant commissioner of police (ACP) Lipi Nagayach told the publication that an investigation is underway.
The shocking video is viral. Social media users have been discussing measures to ensure that the work of househelps is monitored to prevent such incidents.
"What is happening? Do they have no honour or respect for their employers," asked an X user, while another commented, "A lot of people don't allow their helpers to use their toilets. This may also have been the case. But after this, people will stop hiring househelps and cooks."
