A Blinkit delivery agent is winning praise across social media for an act of compassion that went far beyond a routine delivery. What began as an ordinary late-night order in Tamil Nadu quickly turned into a moment that the internet believes may have prevented a tragedy.

The delivery partner received an order for three packets of rat poison late at night. On its own, the order did not appear unusual. Quick commerce platforms often include such items, and the rider set off to complete the task as he would any other. However, when he reached the customer’s home, he immediately sensed that something was not right.

The Blinkit rider shared the incident on social media. He revealed, “A total of three rat poisons. I don’t know what they were thinking when they ordered that. But seeing them crying so much, I thought they had some issue and ordered this. But once I reached the customer’s location, I couldn’t just deliver this order.”

He further explained, “She just kept crying. Then I went to her and told ‘No matter what problem you have, don’t commit suicide’ and asked ‘Did you order this because you want to commit suicide?’ She replied, ‘No, bro, that’s not the case.’ I said, ‘No, don’t lie. You just want to commit suicide. If you had a rat problem, you could have ordered it around seven o’clock, or even earlier. Maybe the next day. There is no reason for ordering it at this time.’ Later, I convinced her and cancelled the order. Today I feel that I’ve accomplished something."
