Open AI CEO Sam Altman, who turned 39 on April 22, received a surprise wish when he addressed students at Stanford University recently who sang a birthday song for him.
In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the students could be heard singing the song for Altman, who was left surprised by the gesture. "This is less interesting," he could be heard in the video.

"You missed recording the part when Sam was like, please please, no no no. I would rather take another question! Bro froze for a moment, and it was hilarious to watch!" one user wrote.
"Trolling of the year! I won't be surprised if crowd copies this for other celebrities," another user wrote.
"Look at him go all red, such a cutie pie," a third user wrote.
"So confused about it because a happy birthday should be just a small celebration with a few very close family members or close friends. So, this feels so fake and makes people feel uncomfortable," a fourth user wrote.
Earlier this month, Altman hosted hundreds of Fortune 500 company executives in San Francisco, New York and London where he and other OpenAI executives pitched AI services for corporate use, going head to head in some cases with financial backer Microsoft.
Altman directly addressed more than 100 executives in each city at the events, according to attendees who spoke on the condition of anonymity.
