Sidhu Moosewala's parents welcome baby boy, father Balkaur Singh shares first pic

Sidhu Moosewala's parents, Balkaur Singh and Charan Kaur, welcomed a baby boy. The late Punjabi singer's family confirmed the news of Kaur's pregnancy in February.

Sidhu Moosewala's parents welcomed a baby boy nearly two years of the singer's assassination in May 2022. The first picture of the newborn was shared on Instagram by his father, Balkaur Singh.

Posing with the little one in his arms, Singh wrote a caption in Punjabi. “With the blessings of millions of souls who love Shubdeep, the Almighty has put Shubh's younger brother in our midst. With the blessings of Waheguru, the family is healthy and thankful to all the well-wishers for their immense love,” read the caption, loosely translated in English.

The late Punjabi singer's family confirmed his mother, Charan Kaur's pregnancy in February. According to a Tribune report, his mother is 58 and Balkaur Singh is 60. The couple used IVF to get pregnant, the publication reported.

Meanwhile, days after the news of Kaur's pregnancy, Balkaur Singh had shared a cryptic post on Facebook. He neither confirmed nor denied his wife's pregnancy and asked the late singer's fans to not believe rumours about his family.

Sidhu Moosewala, whose real name is Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, was shot dead by assailants on May 29, 2022, in Jawaharke village of Mansa district in Punjab. At least three weapons were used and  thirty empty cases were found at the site of the 28-year-old's death. According to the autopsy report, Moosewala probably died "within 15 minutes" of receiving the injury. His death came a day after his security cover was pruned by the government. He was an only child of his parents.

Moosewala is known for his Punjabi songs such as "295", "So High", "Same Beef" and "Love Sick", among others. He was one of the wealthiest Punjabi singers and was regarded as the best in the business.
