Shark Tank India: New judge Ronnie Screwvala lauds 'relentless' entrepreneurs, Radhika Gupta responds

Shark Tank India, which has been wrapping up the shoot for its third season, saw one of its newest judges praise the entrepreneurs who were "relentless" with their pitches on the popular business reality show.

Ronnie Screwvala, co-founder and chairperson of upGrad, took to X to express his admiration for the show and its participants. "Looking forward... was a fun day... loved the energy - so much positivity towards the relentless, lonely, never-say-die, yet incredible journey of entrepreneurship and Shark Tank India being a super platform for nation building," he wrote.

Responding to his post, fellow judge and Edelweiss Mutual Funds CEO Radhika Gupta wrote a tribute to the filmmaker and credited him for making her favourite movie Swades, starring Shah Rukh Khan. Gupta added that she admired Screwvala's skills as an investor.

"Sharing the tank with you Ronnie Screwvala has been an honour. Always admired you as a very sharp investor and of course, the man behind iconic movies including my favourite Swades… and the opportunity was a delight. There is so much I learnt from your sheer presence!" she wrote on X.

This season’s lineup of judges on Shark Tank India will feature twice the number witnessed in other seasons, including Aman Gupta (co-founder and CMO of boAt), Amit Jain (CEO and co-founder of CarDekho Group, InsuranceDekho.com), Anupam Mittal (founder and CEO of Shaadi.com - People Group), Namita Thapar (executive director of Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Vineeta Singh (co-founder and CEO of SUGAR Cosmetics), Peyush Bansal (Founder and CEO of Lenskart.com).

The new "Sharks" this season apart from Gupta and Screwvala include Ritesh Agarwal (founder and CEO of OYO Rooms), Deepinder Goyal (founder and CEO of Zomato), and Azhar Iqubal (co-founder and CEO of Inshorts).
