Prime Minister Narendra Modi presided over the much-anticipated "pran prathishtha" ceremony. The consecration marks a significant moment in India's cultural and religious history, drawing attention not only from the nation but also from global audiences.
“It is a matter of great privilege to be part of this divine programme,” the Prime Minister said on X. He made these remarks as he took part in the consecration ceremony of the idol of Ram Lalla in the Ayodhya Ram Mandir.
The 51-inch idol of Ram Lalla, carved by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj, portrays Lord Ram as a five-year-old child standing on a lotus.
