  • Viral video sparked debate on tourist behavior and local safety

A video shared on X by user @TyrantOppressor has gone viral, showing a group of Haryanvi bikers riding through the mountains with loud silencers. The bikers, often referred to as “kanwadias,” were disturbing the peace of the hills with their noisy rides, much to the frustration of the residents. Their actions not only created a nuisance but also risked causing accidents in the narrow, winding mountain paths.

In the video, the pahadis can be seen confronting the bikers directly. They made the riders face the loud sound of their own bikes, letting them experience the level of disturbance they were causing.

"Some Haryanvi were riding bikes in the mountains with loud silencers. Pahadis caught them and made them listen to the loud sound of the bike. This is the only right way to deal with these la*an*as," reads the caption on the post.

The clip quickly went viral on social media, attracting thousands of views and sparking a heated discussion. Users reacted strongly, sharing opinions on traffic rules, local safety, and how tourists or bikers should behave in sensitive areas.

One user wrote, "Haryana is the worst thing that happened to the hills, just some no-brains, bulked up dude, loud mouth, zero civic sense. Full of faltu ka ego and ughhhh."

Another X said, "Being a Haryanvi, there is so much shame in accepting this. A major chunk of our ppl are genuinely like this only."

A third user added, "No hate against you guys, but I genuinely want to understand why Haryanvis are so aggressive and full of male ego? It's a general problem in India, as I've stayed in many Indian metros, but honestly, it was the worst when I was in Gurgaon. I'm really unable to understand why people there are so full of anger and why the first instinct is to fight?''
