Nita and Mukesh Ambani performed at Anant Ambani's pre-wedding festivities

The couple performed a dance routine to an old Hindi song, drawing loud cheers and applause from the audience.

Anant Ambani is the youngest son of Mukesh and Nita Ambani. His wedding to Radhika Merchant is expected to take place in July. Ahead of the planned nuptials, the Ambanis are hosting the world’s elite at their sprawling Jamnagar estate for three days of festivities.

Last night’s festivities included a ‘sangeet’ where family and friends performed for the couple. Mukesh Ambani, 66, and Nita Ambani, 60, danced to “Pyar Hua Ikrar Hua” from the 1955 film “Shree 420”.

Besides family, Bollywood stars also performed at last night’s event, which was themed ‘Mela Rouge’. Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir Khan set the stage on fire by recreating several of their iconic dance steps. Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor also delivered a dance performance with designer Manish Malhotra.

Guests last night were also treated to a power-packed musical performance from Diljit Dosanjh singing some of his hit Punjabi songs.
