As moderate to heavy rains continue in Himachal Pradesh on Wednesday, the state saw landslides and closure of 100 roads across state. Officials said, around 127 roads were kept closed. 90 out of them are expected to open by tonight. The rain-related issues since June 24 are estimated to cause around Rs. 219.29 crore.
Mumbai rains led to multiple incidents involving trees and branches falling and injuring people. Since Tuesday, Mumbai witnessed 26 incidents involving falling of trees or branches. Officials reported two persons were killed in separate tree fall incidents in Mumbai's western suburbs on Wednesday amid rains.

Bengaluru will receive light to moderate rainfall in coming five days. The southern interiors of Karnataka will witness isolated heavy rains on June 28 and July 2. While light and widespread rainfall is predicted over Kerala and Mahe regions, there is possibility of isolated heavy rains in Kerala on June 29 and July 2.

Despite the heavy rains,supply of water reservoirs around Mumbai is going down due to delayed rainfall. The civic body has decided to impose 10% water cut starting from Saturday. Seven reservoirs surrounding Mumbai - Bhatsa, UpperVaitarna, MiddleVaitarna,Tansa,ModakSagar,Viharand Tulsi, supply 3800 million of litres of water per day to Mumbai. The BMC registered 7.26% water level in the seven reservoirs today. They had registered 9.04% of water level in 2022 and 16.44% in 2021 on the same day.
Monsoon will cover entire country week earlier than usual after the delayed start. The swift progress of monsoon may improve prospects for sowing crops including rice, pulses and soybeans. The annual rains usually start on June 1 and cover entire country till July 8. This year the rains arrived on June 8 and are likely cover India in two to three days, says IMD
Light to heavy rain in parts of Rajasthan led to a drop in maximum and minimum temperatures today. IMD issued orange alert in nine districts in Rajasthan. IMD predicted heavy rains in Udaipur, Ajmer, Kota, and Bharatpur divisions in south-eastern Rajasthan in the next two days. Banswara received the highest rainfall of 10cm followed by Jayal of Nagaur and Nasirabad of Ajmer with 9 cm and 8 cm rains respectively.
IMD issued yellow alert after 24 hours of heavy rains in Goa. The predictions show heavy showers at isolated places in Goa till Thursday.The heavy rains on Tuesday night led to inundated roads and blocked drains in several low-lying parts of Panaji. CCP said the incessant rains and blocked drains led to inundation.
