Louis Vuitton is known for its extravagant designs and even extravagant prices that might burn a hole in your pocket. Apart from selling bags, belts and clothing items, the luxury fashion giant has also entered the world of gadgets. Louis Vuitton’s wireless earphones have kicked up a storm on desi social media for its jaw-dropping price and is being dubbed the “world’s most expensive earphone”.
The Louis Vuitton Horizon Light Up Earphones might have released in March this year but the gadget is sending social media users in a tizzy. Why? Well, they are priced at a staggering $1,66o which is approximately Rs 1,38,204. Talk about burning a large hole in your pocket.
The earbuds are built on a lightweight aluminium frame and are adorned with a layer of polished sapphire atop the “flower” from the brand’s signature monogram pattern. Other features include active noise-cancellation, background noise-eliminating microphone for calls and Bluetooth Multipont, meaning that the user can stream audio from two different sources at once. They also come in five different colours.
The gadget boasts of a battery life of 28 hours with an accompanying stainless steel carry case which also serves as a power bank. The signature monogram is present everywhere.

A review of the earphones was done by Aman Yadav and he shared the video on Instagram.
The unboxing clip has amassed over two million views since being shared online. Netizens obviously had a lot to say about the earphones and the comments section was absolutely flooded.
"You will get it soon from China probably made in the same factory as Louis Vuitton is made," a user wrote. Another user commented, "They are looking like gold earrings."
"Just overrated," a third user remarked. A fourth user added, "Ab dusre brands bhi mehenga banane mai lagg jaayenge (Now, other brands will start making expensive earphones as well)."
