Amit Burman-promoted Natures Bounty Wines & Allied Products today unveiled 'Kuchh Nai' Scotch whiskey in the Indian market.

Priced at Rs 1,000 for a 750 ml bottle, the Scotch will be manufactured at Glasgow in England by Kuchh Nai Marketing and marketed in India by Natures Bounty Wines & Allied Products.

According to the company's estimates, it will be able to start selling the whiskey in Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Mumbai by the middle of next month.

"We estimate that by July end or middle of August, we will get the licence to sell the whiskey in these states," Natures Bounty Wines & Allied Products CEO A S Wadhwa told reporters.

The company has been testing the market for the product through select outlets in Delhi, Chandigarh, Haryana and markets of Jammu & Kashmir.

"Gradually, it will be introduced in other metro cities all across the country," Wadhwa added.

Apart from England, the whiskey is currently being sold in Canada. Kuchh Nai Marketing, which is run by Jabble family, is also planning to introduce it in various other geographies, including East African countries.

The Jabble family migrated to England in 1962 and created and registered 'Kuchh Nai' Scotch whiskey globally in 1996.

Established by Amit Burman, Dabur India Vice-Chairman, Natures Bounty Wines & Allied Products imports and markets wines and spirits from across the globe.
