  • She invested Rs 2.8 lakh and lives rent-free with her parents

A South Delhi content creator recently posted a video sharing her expenses for February. Yukta Sethi revealed she spent over Rs 4 lakh last month, largely on investments.

Sethi explained that she earns from two sources. Her LinkedIn profile shows she has a degree in Finance and Marketing and works as an Associate at an education consulting firm. Content creation appears to be her second source of income.

Sethi spent Rs 4 lakh in one month

She explained her first expense was travel, which totalled Rs 21,000. Sethi said the amount was low considering she travelled to Vietnam, Mumbai, and Alibaug, as her parents paid for most of the Vietnam trip.

She then spent Rs 60,000 on shopping, with Rs 30,000 going to a single Mumbai store called Style Junkie.

Sethi shared that most of her earnings went into investments, with Rs 2.8 lakh in February. In an earlier video, she said her portfolio includes mutual funds and fixed deposits.

Miscellaneous expenses

She further said that she spent Ts 17,000 on eating out in February, followed by nearly Rs 3,000 on coffee. She added that the coffee expenses were low as she travelled a lot. “Coffee was not much because I was travelling so much,” she said.

She spent another Rs 17,000 on her Instagram channel for editing and backend expenses.

She ended up spending roughly Rs 3,000 on grooming, Rs 4,100 on subscriptions, and another Rs 1,800 on miscellaneous items.

Her total spending for February reached Rs 4,08,131. She added that living with her parents means she does not pay rent.

The post quickly started gaining attention, with one user asking, “Can you talk about your investments? Like a pie chart - how do you divide the 2,80,000?” Another wrote, “Would love to know the investment part, detailed video please.”
