India's outstanding victory against South Africa at the T20 World Cup 2024 final was one of the best examples of teamwork. As celebrations erupted on and off the field, across the world, the meme-churners on social media did not disappoint.

Most featured the team's outgoing head coach Rahul Dravid, Virat Kohli who announced his retirement from T20 format minutes after India defeated South Africa by seven runs at the Kensington Oval in the final, and skipper Rohit Sharma who also announced his retirement from the format hours after the final.
