A viral claim circulating on social media is that February 2026 will be a rare and unusual calendar event. According to the post, February will have four Sundays, four Mondays, and four each weekday, labelled as "MiracleIn" month, something happens once every 823 years.
The viral message has been spread widely across social media platforms and group chats, with instructions to forward it for good luck and miracles. However, the claim is false and stems from a misunderstanding of how calendars work.
February 2026 will have 28 days because it is not a leap year. With four full weeks in the month, each weekday appears four times. This pattern occurs in every non-leap-year February, with our Sundays, four Mondays and four of every other weekday.
According to the Calendar experts, the same structure occurs regularly without any special alignment.
Similar claims were debunked by AFP Fact Check in earlier years, including 2022, explaining that normal Februaries consistently follow the same structure.
The term "MiracleIn" is not a recognised scientific or calendar term, and there will be no 25-hour day in February 2026.
February 2026 is an ordinary non-leap-year February, not a rare or once-in-a-century event.
The misleading viral message quickly circulated ahead of February 2026, drawing reaction from social media users.

Another X user commented, “Miracle? It has happened before, and it will happen again. Check your 2015 and 2037 calendars; it’s programmed already, nothing special .”
A third user said, “False claim.”
