Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Limited marked its listing on the National Stock Exchange of India with an unusual gesture by its Managing Director, Kuldeep Jain, who wore a specially designed jacket displaying photographs of all 600 employees as he rang the opening bell.

Instead of conventional formal attire typically associated with such ceremonies, Jain chose a garment created to represent the company’s workforce, effectively incorporating images of every staff member into the design. Visuals of the moment were shared online, prompting significant engagement across social media platforms.

One of the most circulated posts came from Sweta Sajnani, Chief People and Culture Officer at CleanMax, who released a video detailing how the jacket was conceived and produced. The footage documented the process from initial planning to final execution, including the coordination of hundreds of employee photographs and collaboration with designers and tailors.

In her post, Sajnani wrote: “At the NSE ceremony today, our MD Kuldeep Jain made sure it wasn’t just his moment — it was everyone’s. He wore a jacket with photographs of all 600 Cleanmax employees printed on it. A simple but powerful gesture that said this milestone belongs to all of us.”

She continued: “What people saw was the final moment on stage. What they didn’t see was the journey behind it — coordinating 600 photos, multiple design rounds, tight timelines. I had the opportunity to bring this idea to life, and it was truly a project in itself. Sharing a small glimpse of that journey here.”

Reflecting on the reaction within the organisation, she added: “Seeing the happiness and sense of belonging this created across the team made it incredibly special. In a milestone like an IPO, it reminded us that success is always about the people behind it. Very proud to have played a part in this.”

In a separate social media message, the National Stock Exchange of India stated: “Congratulations to ‘Clean Max Enviro Energy Solutions Limited’ on getting listed on NSE today.”

According to coverage by CNBC-TV18, Jain addressed the gesture during a conversation with journalist Nigel D’Souza. The broadcaster reported: “At Clean Max’s listing ceremony at the NSE, Founder Kuldeep Jain made a powerful statement — wearing a custom jacket featuring the names of all 600 employees. Speaking to Nigel D’Souza, Jain said he didn’t want to stand alone on the big day, adding that he wanted his team to feel they were all in it together. A unique moment marking the company’s market debut.”

The public issue was valued at approximately Rs 3,100 crore, marking a significant financial milestone for the renewable energy firm as it entered the public markets.
