The founder stated that the delay in receiving the device had operational consequences for his company.

Shardul Lavekar, the founder and chief executive of artificial intelligence startup 100x.bot, alleged that his attempt to procure an Apple iMac through Amazon led to repeated delivery failures and an encounter he described as threatening and disruptive to his business operations.

In a post shared on social media platform X, Lavekar accused a delivery executive, whom he identified as Laddu Tabrez, of behaving in an unprofessional manner during multiple delivery attempts. Alongside his account, Lavekar posted a video of the individual and appealed to the police to intervene.

According to Lavekar, the first delivery attempt took place on a Saturday, when the delivery agent declined to hand over the iMac to office security personnel. Lavekar stated that no explanation was provided for the refusal. The order was subsequently marked as returned.

He said he placed the order again, only for it to be marked as returned a second time. In his post, Lavekar detailed what followed after he contacted the delivery executive directly.

“The delivery guy never showed up. My order is marked returned. I place the order again. My order is marked returned again. I call the delivery guy,” he wrote. “Laddu Tabrez is the delivery guy name. Comes to my office, heckles me, and threatens to do whatever. Says that my imac is gone forever now. Police can't do anything.”

Lavekar further alleged that when the delivery agent returned on a weekday, he caused a disturbance at the office premises. He also claimed that the individual told him to wait until he “gathers a few more goons”, a statement that Lavekar said prompted him to seek police assistance.

The founder stated that the delay in receiving the device had operational consequences for his company. He claimed the repeated returns forced the business to place fresh orders, resulting in lost work time and reduced productivity. He added that when confronted about the situation, the delivery agent allegedly told him to “forget about it” and refused to release the device.

In response to Lavekar’s post, Bengaluru City Police replied publicly, stating: “Your complaint has been forwarded to concerned for necessary action in this regard.”

Amazon also responded through its official support handle, writing in the comments section: “We never intend to cater such an experience from our delivery associate. Kindly reach out to our support team.”

"To people asking 'if the order is returned and money refunded, where is the issue?'" It's a lot lesser about money refund etc. Worth noting is that this guy shows up with 3-4 similar likeminded jobless chapris to threaten further violence. All this for calling him and asking why the fraud," Lavekar added in his thread.
