An Australian man living in India has shared a video from Mumbai that has drawn wide attention online, after he spoke about the city’s “energy” and his brief interaction with young boys at an outdoor play area. The video, posted on Instagram by Andy Evans, shows him speaking and spending time with children, an experience he said left him feeling positive and welcomed.

In the clip, Evans stands with a group of boys who talk and smile as they spend time with him. He said the meeting was brief but left a strong impact. According to his post, keeping mobile phones away and focusing on conversation made the moment meaningful.

Sharing the video, Evans described the experience in detail in the caption. “10:26am today. 94 minutes before this post. I had the pleasure to meet and train with some fine young men. 15 minutes of connecting. Phones away. Conversation. Asking about each other. Sun. Movement. Sharing air, energy, life and love,” he wrote.

He also spoke about how Mumbai makes him feel when he arrives in the city. “As soon as I step foot here in Mumbai, I feel it receives me. I guess that goes for all of India,” he added. “But there's something special about this city.”
