Chinese AI firm SenseTime denies allegations of inflating value

The AI firm said that it was reviewing the allegations and would take an "appropriate course of action" to "safeguard the interests of all shareholders”.

  • SenseTime has denied the allegations, stating that the report is "without merit", and filled with "misleading conclusions and interpretations".
  • Shares of SenseTime, a Chinese Artificial Intelligence (AI) company, plummeted after a report from Grizzly Research accused the company of inflating its revenue using a "round-tripping" program.

IndiGo launches 6Eskai AI chatbot to enhance travel support services

The airlines said 6Eskai, designed to handle customer queries in ten different languages, enables seamless ticket bookings across the airline's entire network.

  • IndiGo announced on November 27 the launch of its AI chatbot, 6Eskai, which incorporates GPT-4 technology, to elevate its customer service experience. The airline revealed that the AI chat assistant, developed internally by its digital team in collaboration with Microsoft, has shown promising early results, a 75 percent reduction in the workload of customer service agents.
  • IndiGo highlighted that with 1.7 trillion parameters, 6Eskai is equipped to handle a diverse range of tasks, from booking tickets and applying promotional discounts to facilitating web check-ins and assisting with seat selection. The AI chatbot is not limited to written or typed interactions; it can also understand verbal instructions using speech-to-text models, it said.

TCS partners with AWS to launch new Generative AI practice

The latest generative AI practice to help enterprises choose and quickly scale the right solutions for their unique business needs and transform their organisations, using AWS’ services such as Amazon Bedrock.

  • The TCS AWD GenAI practice will focus on using responsible AI frameworks and its PacePort innovation hubs to build a comprehensive portfolio of solutions and services for every industry sector, the company said in a release. The company said it is also ensuring a responsible AI framework that will help enterprises navigate the ethical and safe uses of AI.
  • Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, which is among the world’s largest hotel franchising companies, has onboarded TCS as a strategic technology partner to manage the hotel group’s core systems and IT business and digital transformation journey on AWS.
