CES 2024: SAG-AFTRA enters agreement for AI voice acting with Replica Studios

Replica is an artificial intelligence voice technology company that is building a library of voice actors for use in video games.

In a press statement, SAG-AFTRA said the agreement had been approved by the "members of the union's voiceover performer community" and the contract will set a fair basis for "equitable employment of voice actors as they explore the new revenue opportunities provided by AI".

Users will be able to browse trending GPTs on a community leaderboard with categories like writing, programming, lifestyle etc.

GPTs are tailored versions of ChatGPT created for a specific purpose, for example - A GPT that suggests alternatives for commonly used words. This expands the capabilities of ChatGPT by handing over the reins to the community to create and share.
