OpenAI has launched an online store for custom GPTs. The online marketplace allows users to share their own custom chatbots called GPTs.
GPTs are tailored versions of ChatGPT created for a specific purpose, for example - A GPT that suggests alternatives for commonly used words. This expands the capabilities of ChatGPT by handing over the reins to the community to create and share.

The GPT store will be rolled out to ChatGPT Plus subscribers, Team users and Enterprise users. OpenAI said the store would feature a diverse range of GPTs developed by partners and community members.
Users will be able to browse trending GPTs on a community leaderboard with categories like writing, programming, lifestyle etc.
OpenAI will also feature new GPTs every week and some of the first GPTs to be included are AllTrails that provides personalized trail recommendations, Consensus that allows users to search through 200 million academic papers, Books which will recommend reading material based on preference and many more.
The ChatGPT maker said that the company will launch a GPT builder revenue program in Q1 2024 that will allow US builders to be paid based on user engagement with their GPTs.

Enterprise users will have additional enhanced admin controls like choosing what GPTs can be shared, and allow them to keep track of which GPTs are used internally in the organization.
Besides the store, OpenAI also added a subscription tier for smaller teams. Team customers get a private section of the GPT store, which allows them to browse and publish GPTs securely.
