We asked the AI bot that changed the technology landscape globally, to write a poem on its birthday. And here's what it wrote.

• In the last 12 months of its existence, ChatGPT went through its own roller coaster ride, from facing data security issues, bugs, people trying to pause AI development for six months to the latest -- its face and OpenAI co-founder Sam Altman getting ousted from the company and then joining back.
• OpenAI's generative AI chatbot ChatGPT, which took the social media by storm on November 30, 2022, turned one today. And now not just users but businesses too are hooked on to it

Sam Altman officially returns as OpenAI CEO, Microsoft joins the board

Microsoft, the largest investor in the AI research lab, is also getting a non-voting observer seat on the nonprofit board that oversees OpenAI.

• Coinciding with ChatGPT's one-year anniversary, OpenAI announced on November 30 that Sam Altman has officially resumed his position as CEO.
• Altman said in the post that he has "zero ill will" towards Ilya Sutskever, the co-founder and chief scientist of OpenAI. Sutskever initially took part in the board coup but later reconsidered his stance when a vast majority of the company's employees threatened to resign unless Altman returned.

Pre-2022, it was widely believed that the first victims of automation would be blue collar roles, as their jobs demanded lower skill and they were repetitive in nature.
