Redmi K30 Ultra, Mi 10 Ultra launch today: Everything you need to know about the two Xiaomi smartphones

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi will mark its 10th-anniversary celebration with the Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi K30 Ultra launch. The company has been teasing the launch of both devices, which will pack high-end specifications and features.

Mi 10 Ultra will be Xiaomi’s flagship smartphone launching on August 10. There have been many rumours and leaks about the Mi 10 Ultra. Tipster Ishan Agarwal, with 91 Mobiles, leaked the RAM and storage configuration alongside the colour options of the Mi 10 Ultra.

According to Agarwal, the premium Xiaomi smartphone will be released in 8 GB RAM + 128 GB, 8 GB RAM + 256 GB, 12 GB RAM + 256 GB and 16 GB RAM + 512 GB options. Mi 10 Ultra will come in three colour variants - Ceramic Black, Bright Silver, and Transparent.

The smartphone is also expected to pack a 4,500 mAh battery, coupled with 120W fast charging and 55W wireless charging. Rumours also suggest that the Mi 10 Ultra will sport a 120Hz curved Full HD+ AMOLED display. Moreover, the camera system on the Mi 10 Ultra is likely to have support for up to 120x Zoom, beating the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra.

The camera system is rumoured to feature a 108MP primary sensor, a 20MP ultrawide shooter, an 8MP telephoto lens, and a periscope module for the 120x zoom.

Xiaomi CEO and Chairman Lei Jun has confirmed that Redmi K30 Ultra will be based on Redmi K30 Pro but will have upgraded specs, reported GizmoChina. 

Redmi K30 Ultra is likely to sport a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. Leaked reports suggest that Redmi K30 Ultra will come in 6 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 128 GB, and 8 GB 512 GB storage configurations. 

Under the hood, Redmi K30 Ultra could pack a MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset and a 4,400 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. The smartphone will also have a 64MP quad-camera setup and a 20MP front camera.

Redmi K30 Ultra will come in three colours — Black, White and Mint Green.
