With international travellers facing difficulty, the Union Health Ministry's CoWin portal has started enabling users to link their COVID-19 vaccination certificates to passports.
The Aarogya Setu app also shared the process for updating or correcting passport details in the certificates. "Now, you can update your passport number in your vaccination certificate," the government said.

Apart from sharing the above details, the guidelines to update or correct passport details in coronavirus vaccination certificates were shared online.
Here's how to link your passport to your vaccination certificate:
1) Open the official portal of CoWin — www.cowin.gov.in.6) Submit the details.
The user will receive the new updated certificate 'in seconds', once the process is complete.
If your personal details on the certificate and the passport don't match, you can request for correction as well on the website.
Here's how to edit personal details:
1) Go to the official portal of CoWin -- www.cowin.gov.in.5) Click on submit.
It is to be noted that entering a passport number and requesting a name change can only be done once.
