Motorola Moto G64 5G: Expected specs, price, and more

The Moto G64 5G will succeed last year’s Moto G54 5G and will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 chipset. It will be the first smartphone to be powered by this octa-core chipset worldwide. Further, like the G54, it will be backed up by a 5000mAh battery, with support for 33W fast charging.

Further, the Moto G64 5G will have a 6.5-inch Full HD+ 120Hz LCD display, with a touch sampling rate of 240Hz and Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone will also have a 50MP primary camera with an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. For enhanced media consumption it will have a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support.

On the software front, the smartphone is confirmed to run with Android 14 out-of-the-box, with Motorola’s My UX skin on top of it. It comes with an assured upgrade to Android 15, and three years of security updates. Motorola has also confirmed that the phone will have an IP52 rating for water resistance.

Like the Motorola Moto G54 5G, the Moto G64 5G could have a starting price of Rs 15,000 after bank offers or discounts for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The smartphone is also confirmed to have a 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, with support for up to 24GB RAM via RAM Boost. The Moto G64 5G will support 14 5G bands.
