The company introduced the feature a couple of years ago on Gboard for Android. The integration into Web Search will mean support for more devices including Apple's ecosystem.

Before this, the only way to use the feature was to install Gboard on your Android phone, or through third-party sites that allowed you to use it on the web.
To start using it, simply type 'Emoji Kitchen' on Google Search in your browser, and click on 'Get Cooking'. You can then combine and create new stickers from the list of available emojis.

The web version of the feature doesn't seem to have all the emojis offered by the Gboard version.
Once you have a result you like, simply copy it and paste it as a sticker wherever you like. The Kitchen works on the Google app and all mobile browsers. You can also hit the shuffle button for random combinations.
