Xiaomi has started the sale of its latest Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G smartphone in India, expanding its mid-range portfolio with a focus on camera upgrades, larger batteries, and durability-focused design. The new Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G are now available across online platforms and authorised retail stores, with launch offers bringing down the effective prices for early buyers.
Price in India and launch offers
The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is priced starting at Rs 29,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. With bank discounts of up to Rs 3,000 on select HDFC Bank, SBI, and ICICI Bank credit cards, the effective launch price comes down to Rs 26,999.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G starts at Rs 37,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. After applying the same bank offers, buyers can get the device for an effective price of Rs 34,999 during the launch period.
Both models are available via mi.com, Amazon India, and authorised offline stores across the country.
Camera and display upgrades
The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G series is headlined by a 200MP rear camera system built around a new high-resolution image sensor. Xiaomi is positioning this camera setup as a major leap for mobile photography in this segment, offering optical-level in-sensor zoom and improved low-light performance.
The camera experience is supported by AI-powered editing tools such as reflection removal, enhanced portrait processing, and quick sharing options for social platforms.
On the front, both smartphones feature a near-borderless display with peak brightness reaching up to 3,200 nits. The screens also include high-frequency PWM dimming and multiple TÜV certifications aimed at reducing eye strain during prolonged use.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset. Xiaomi has also introduced its IceLoop cooling system in the Pro+ variant to maintain consistent performance under heavy workloads.
Battery capacity is another highlight. The Pro+ model packs a 6,500mAh Silicon-Carbon battery with 100W fast charging support, while the Pro variant features a 6,580mAh battery with 45W fast charging. Both phones include chargers in the box and also support reverse charging.
For durability, the smartphones come with reinforced internal structures, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and multiple water and dust resistance certifications, making them suitable for everyday rugged use.
