Dell announced its latest premium flagship gaming laptop, the Alienware x16 R2, on Friday. It comes with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 185H CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 mobile graphics. This laptop is among the most powerful gaming laptops available in India right now.

It also promises many AI-accelerated features and has improved AlienFX lighting, allowing users to customise colours to match the games being played. The laptop has anodised aluminium and magnesium chassis with a perimeter foot design, that promises improved airflow.

Dell Alienware x16 R2: Price and availability

The Dell Alienware X16 R2 is available in India, at a starting price of Rs 2,86,990. It is available via Dell.com, Dell Exclusive Stores, Amazon, and select multi-brand stores across India. The Dell Alienware x16 R2 is offered in a single Lunar Silver colour option.

Dell Alienware x16 R2: Specifications and features

The Dell Alienware x16 R2 has a big 16-inch QHD+ display with a 3ms response time and up to 240Hz refresh rate. It comes with two CPU choices - Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and Core Ultra 9 185H. These processors can be paired with GPU options of up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090.

Additionally, it gets up to 32GB DDR5X RAM and 4TB PCIe NVME SSD storage. The laptop has an AlienFX RGB Cherry MX keyboard with a large trackpad. Dell has also included a Full HD webcam and dual mics for crisp video calling. It also has include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.

The Dell Alienware x16 R2 has a 90Wh battery, with 360W charging support. In terms of connectivity, the laptop has two USB Type-A 3.2 ports, two USB Type C ports with one Thunderbolt 4, a Power delivery port, and an HDMI 2.1 port. The laptop also has a micro SD card slot and a headphone jack.

It weighs 2.72 kg and its speakers have two tweeters and four woofers, that ensure crisp and loud audio output.
