Samsung Electronics has unveiled the Galaxy Book6 series at CES 2026, introducing three new laptops — Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro and Galaxy Book6 — focused on higher performance, on-device AI and slimmer designs. The new lineup is powered by Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors built on Intel’s 18A process technology and integrates Galaxy AI features for cross-device productivity.
Samsung positions the Galaxy Book6 series as its most advanced PC lineup so far, targeting professionals, creators and everyday users who need sustained performance with long battery life. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra leads the range, while the Galaxy Book6 Pro is available in 14-inch and 16-inch sizes, and the Galaxy Book6 caters to mainstream productivity needs.
At the hardware level, the Galaxy Book6 series uses Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, which combine CPU, GPU and NPU on a single SoC. Samsung says the integrated NPU delivers up to 50 TOPS, enabling local AI tasks such as image background removal, real-time translation and intelligent search without depending on cloud processing. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra further adds optional NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 and 5070 laptop GPUs, expanding support for AI-assisted creative workflows, video editing and graphics-intensive tasks.
Thermal design has been revised across the lineup. For the first time, the Galaxy Book6 Pro models adopt a vapor chamber cooling system, while the Galaxy Book6 Ultra uses a larger redesigned vapor chamber paired with improved airflow and quieter fan architecture. According to Samsung, these changes improve heat dissipation and help maintain stable performance during extended workloads.
Display upgrades are concentrated on the Ultra and Pro models. They feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X touch panels with up to 1000 nits of HDR peak brightness, adaptive refresh rates ranging from 30Hz to 120Hz, and anti-reflective coatings designed to reduce glare in bright environments. The standard Galaxy Book6 uses IPS panels aimed at everyday productivity.
Audio has also been enhanced. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra includes a six-speaker Dolby Atmos system with force-canceling woofers, while the Pro models feature quad-speaker setups designed to improve voice clarity during calls and provide balanced sound for media consumption.
Galaxy AI plays a central role in the software experience. Features such as AI Select, Note Assist, Multi Control, Second Screen and Storage Share allow seamless interaction between Galaxy laptops, smartphones and tablets. Security is handled through Samsung Knox and Windows 11 secured-core PC protections, with Samsung also offering Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition options for managed IT environments.
The Galaxy Book6 series will be available in select markets starting late January 2026, with an Enterprise Edition planned for April.
