VST sales decline 8.7% in Sept, tractor slows down but power tillers look up

The company sold 2,092 power tillers in September 2023 compared to 2,070 units sold in the previous-year period, marking a 1.06 percent YoY growth.

VST Tillers & Tractor on October 2 released its monthly sales figures for September 2023.

According to the exchange filing, the company sold 535 units in domestic tractor sales in the said period, as against 586 tractors sold in September 2022, marking a decline of 8.7 percent.

In the power tillers segment, however, VST recorded an increase in monthly sales this September. The company sold 2,092 power tillers in September 2023, compared to 2,070 units sold a year back, marking a 1.06 percent growth.

Year to date, the company's tiller sales came in at 19,854 units in September 2023, compared to 17,980 units last year, marking a 10.42 percent profit in the segment. In the tractor segment, the year-to-date sales in September 2023 stood at 2,924 units as against 3,375 units, representing a 13.36 percent decline.
