Opera gets into the spirit of giving with version 11.6

What does Christmas have to do with a browser? Apparently everything. Opera has released a new version of their desktop browser, version 11.60 and is using the upcoming season to spread the word. “It’s better to give than to receive, so why not give that special someone a new browser,” says Jan Standal, VP of desktop products at Opera Software. “People spend more time working with their browser than they do with their car, so it makes sense to shop around and consider their options. If your best friend drove a Yugo, you’d help them find something else, right?” The company has released a list of reasons to try Opera for the first time for users who have never used the browser before. These include, "No assembly required", "your current browser is so fat it can't slide down the chimney" and a personal favourite, "Justin Beiber doesn't use it".Click here for full story
