The Modi government created the foundation for the growth of the Indian Railways in its 10 years of rule. "The past governments were using the Indian Railways as a political tool," the minister said.
Ashwini Vaishnaw also said that advanced planning is done by the Indian Railways. This needs hard work and communication at all levels. Automatic train protection came in 1980’s in other countries, but the then government did not bring it to India. They did not invest in safety. PM Narendra Modi brought automatic train protection came in 2016,” Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said
