One of them had been in the Juvenile Jail RS Pura since 2019 and the other since 2021. Both have been handed over to the Jammu and Kashmir Police. Their third accomplice, Karamjeet alias Guga, an Indian, also escaped from jail with them. He was their mastermind, who was supposed to send them out of the country to Nepal via the Uttar Pradesh border.
