Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani on Sunday credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi with restoring India’s confidence as an ancient civilisation and steering the country into a new era of growth and self-assurance.

Speaking at the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference for the Kutch and Saurashtra region, Mukesh Ambani said, “Jai Somnath! The positive vibrations from our Prime Minister's prayers at Somnath are resonating across Gujarat and India.” He added, “Prime Minister, you have restored to India its self-belief as a civilisation. Never in the history of independent India have we seen so much hope, so much self-confidence, and so much vibrancy in India as we do now.”

Referring to global uncertainty, Mukesh Ambani said, “All of us know that the world is changing very fast. The geopolitical situation is creating new challenges, including some unexpected turbulence.” However, he asserted that India remains insulated. “What is reassuring for India is that these challenges cannot touch or trouble our people. This is because India has an invincible protective wall called Narendrabhai Modi,” he said.

Mukesh Ambani said PM Modi’s leadership had fundamentally altered India’s long-term direction. “Your vision has reshaped India’s trajectory for the next 50 years and more. History will record that the Modi era is when India moved from potential to performance, from aspiration to action, from being a follower to becoming a global force,” he said.

Highlighting Reliance Industries’ investment plans, Mukesh Ambani noted that the group had invested over Rs 3.5 lakh crore in the past five years and announced a major expansion. “Today, I am pleased to announce that we will double this to Rs 7 lakh crores over the next five years,” he said.

Mukesh Ambani also unveiled Reliance’s push into artificial intelligence, saying, “In Jamnagar, we are building India’s largest artificial intelligence-ready data center with a single goal — affordable AI for every Indian.” Ambani added that Jio would soon launch “a people-first intelligence platform built in India for India and the world,” enabling citizens to access AI services in their own language on their own devices.
