Oil marketing companies have decreased prices for 19kg commercial and 5kg FTL (Free Trade LPG) cylinders. The 19kg commercial cylinder price is reduced by Rs 30.50 to Rs 1764.50 in Delhi.
Similarly, the price of the 5kg FTL cylinder is lowered by Rs 7.50. This adjustment follows a previous hike in commercial LPG prices on March 1, reflecting changes in fuel costs and market dynamics.
Oil marketing companies declared on March 1st that the cost of commercial liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) gas cylinders would be increasing. The changes in market dynamics and gasoline prices coincided with this price modification. On February 1, there were differences in the cost of Indane petrol cylinders between major cities, including Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai.
However, with the arrival of March 1, buyers saw a significant hike in the price of Indane LPG petrol cylinders in all metro areas. While the exact causes for the price decrease are unknown, several factors such as changes in worldwide oil prices, variations in taxation regulations, and supply-demand dynamics are likely to contribute to such adjustments.
The repeated modifications highlight the volatility nature of the energy market and the repercussions for households and businesses who rely on commercial LPG cylinders.
