Bengaluru traffic police on December 20 launched their new website (btp.karnataka.gov.in).

"This new platform replaces the old website and boasts unique features that aim to simplify traffic-related services and promote a smoother driving experience in the city," said Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) MN Anucheth.
"Using data analytics, we are able to provide a Traffic Situation map, which gives real-time updates on traffic congestion, road closures, and diversions," he added.
The website also includes separate sections for timely traffic alerts and news. Citizens can report traffic violations, register complaints and suggestions, and pay traffic challans or dispute challans.
The website is divided into three main sections: traffic management, enforcement, and road safety.
Citizens can also download ‘BTP AstraM’ app, developed by Bengaluru traffic police. The app offers real-time traffic updates, event alerts, accident and violation reporting, and access to important traffic news. It features an emergency SOS system, congestion alerts, and allows users to check and pay traffic fines.
