A day after initiating a formal process seeking to disqualify Rahul Gandhi from the Lok Sabha, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey on Friday called the Congress MP the “ringleader of the tukde-tukde gang".

“My accusations against Soros, the Ford Foundation, and the ringleader of the "tukde-tukde gang" Rahul Gandhi Ji are these, for which I have sought permission from the Lok Sabha Speaker to debate. Is the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha planning India's partition for the sake of gaining power,” Dubey stated in a post on X.

The BJP leader also shared a multi-page letter addressed to the Speaker.

In the document, he requested the formation of a parliamentary inquiry committee to investigate what he called “unethical conduct" by Gandhi and sought action regarding his status as a Member of Parliament.

In the leter, the BJP leader alleged that Gandhi sought to sow distrust against constitutional institutions and levelled unsubstantiated charges against key government bodies, including the Election Commission and the Supreme Court. It further claimed that his remarks in Parliament undermined the dignity of the armed forces as well as other government institutions.

Dubey on Thursday said he has given a notice to initiate a "substantive motion" against  Gandhi, and demanded that his Lok Sabha membership be cancelled and he be debarred from contesting elections for life.

Speaking to PTI videos in Parliament House complex, Dubey said that in his notice he has stated how the Leader of the Opposition visits foreign countries joining hands with the Soros Foundation, USAID, Ford Foundation and "colludes" with anti-India elements.

A substantive motion is an independent, self-contained proposal submitted for the approval of a legislative house or assembly, drafted to express a decision or opinion.

"No privilege motion notice. I have given a substantive motion notice where in I have mentioned how he visits Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia with Soros Foundation, Ford Foundation and USAID, and colludes with anti-India forces," Dubey alleged.

The BJP MP demanded that the "Lok Sabha membership of Gandhi be cancelled and he be debarred from contesting elections for life".
