Several vehicles, including cars and trucks, collided on the Noida Expressway on Saturday morning amid dense fog in Delhi-NCR. The accident caused massive traffic congestion on the expressway, leaving several people injured.
The incident took place on the 135-km-long, six-lane Eastern Peripheral Expressway, or Kundli–Ghaziabad–Palwal Expressway, which runs through Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. The pile-up occurred after thick fog severely affected visibility on the stretch.

Police and toll authorities, with the help of cranes, are clearing damaged vehicles in Chakrasainpur, which falls under the Dadri police station area. Traffic was disrupted for hours as emergency teams rushed to the spot.
"In the said case, the police force is present at the scene, and necessary actions are being taken," Gautam Buddh Nagar (Noida) Police Commissioner office posted on X.
Delhi-NCR woke up to a thick blanket of smog as pollution levels surged once again.
In view of the smog, the Delhi airport earlier today issued an advisory urging passengers to contact the airline concerned. "Low visibility procedures are in progress at Delhi Airport. All flight operations are presently normal. Passengers are requested to contact the airline concerned for updated flight information," read the advisory.
