Lok Sabha LoP and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said, "For me, my five years in Wayanad completely changed the way I think about my politics and my work. Because when I came here I found that I had a completely different type of relationship with the people. Normally as politicians, we have a political relationship. It's like a transactional relationship. You have to do this for us, we will do this for you. But in Wayanad, that is not the type of relationship. And also I realized one thing. I started politics in 2004 and I became the MP of Wayanad in 2019. For 15 years in my politics, I did not use the word love. After I came to Wayanad, the word love entered my political vocabulary. When I went on the Bharat Jodo Yatra from Kanniyakumari to Kashmir, the main idea of that yatra was to use love and affection as a political instrument. Meaning even if the person who is standing infront of you is abusing you, hates you, and wants to hurt you, you don't respond in the same. That is what I learned from the people of Wayanad."

Palestinian medical officials have reported that an Israeli airstrike hit a tent sheltering a displaced family in the central Gaza Strip, killing at least three people, including the parents of 10-year-old twins. The attack took place late Sunday in the Nuseirat refugee camp, which is located in the urban center of Gaza.

The two children, who were seriously wounded in the strike, are currently receiving treatment at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the nearby city of Deir al-Balah. Hospital records confirm the deaths of the parents, and an Associated Press reporter was able to witness the recovery of two of the bodies.

The TMC has complained to the Election Commission of India, accusing BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari of breaching the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) during a rally for the upcoming by-election in Taldangra, West Bengal.
