The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), in an official statement, asserted that truth cannot be suppressed, stating, "Truth can be troubled, but not defeated."

The Rouse Avenue court in Delhi granted bail to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on June 20 in connection with a money laundering case linked to an alleged excise scam. The court's decision sparked a wave of reactions from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders.

AAP leader Atishi welcomed the court's decision with an expression of victory, "Satyamev Jayate," underscoring the triumph of truth in the legal proceedings surrounding Kejriwal's case.

The AAP, in an official statement, asserted that truth cannot be suppressed, stating, "Truth can be troubled, but not defeated."

AAP MP Sanjay Singh expressed joy over Arvind Kejriwal's bail, stating it as a victory for justice and a blow to BJP's falsehoods, affirming it strengthens trust in India's judiciary. His tweet in Hindi when translated into English reads, "Justice has prevailed in a case built on lies, deceit and fabricated facts. The bail granted to ArvindKejriwal will strengthen people's faith in the country's judicial system. This decision is a strong slap on the lies of the BJP. There is a wave of happiness among every worker of the Aam Aadmi Party."

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann echoed similar sentiments in a social media post, affirming, "We have faith in the court… Kejriwal gets bail… truth wins."

Raghav Chadha, another AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP, expressed heartfelt thanks to the judiciary for granting bail to Kejriwal, describing it as a victory for justice and truth. "Truth can be troubled but not defeated. This is the victory of justice, the victory of truth. Heartfelt thanks to the honourable court for granting bail to Arvind Kejriwal ji," Chadha posted on X in Hindi.

AAP leader, Saurabh Bharadwaj, tweeting in Hindi, emphasized the importance of timely justice delivered by lower courts, indicating that prolonged trials in higher courts burden the justice system unnecessarily. "Waiting till the Supreme Court for any relief in PMLA cases was suffocating the entire justice system. It was very important that lower courts also deliver timely justice. Every case going to the Supreme Court was unnecessarily increasing the burden on the Supreme Court," Bharadwaj posted on X in Hindi.

AAP's National General Secretary, Sandeep Pathak, invoked a sense of divine protection in his tweet, stating, "Whom God protects, no one can kill him. Even the whole world cannot harm him. Satyameva Jayate!"

Meanwhile, TMC MP Sagarika Ghose expressed solidarity with Kejriwal upon his bail, writing, "Welcome back Arvind Kejriwal ji. Solidarity. Strength. Support."

However, not all reactions were congratulatory. BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa cautioned against interpreting bail as exoneration, stating, "On Arvind Kejriwal getting bail, Aam Aadmi Party is saying 'Satyamev Jayate'. If getting bail is victory, I would like to tell that there is not a single person who was arrested for corruption and did not get bail. Getting bail doesn't mean there is no evidence against you. Evidence was there, and this is why the same court sent you to jail and then gave you bail, so you can't even say the court is biased," said Sirsa.
