The shares of Exicom Tele-Systems tumbled 10 percent to hit the lower circuit at Rs 219.70 apiece on February 6. This comes after the company reported a net loss of Rs 49 crore in the third quarter of FY25.
The company announced its results for the quarter ended December 2024 in the post market hours of February 5. The company's Rs 48.97 crore net loss in Q3 FY25 marks a sharp decline from the Rs 8.99 crore net profit reported in Q3 of the previous financial year.
Exicom's revenue from operations also saw a sharp year-on-year fall of 25 percent to Rs 196.63 crore in Q3FY25. The company had reported revenue from operations at Rs 263.65 crore in Q3FY24.
While its EV charger segment generated positive revenue growth in Q3, its critical power segment saw a strong decline. The company's critical power segment generated a revenue of Rs 86.13 crore in Q3, down from the Rs 213.36 crore revenue generated in the year-ago period. Its EV charger segment meanwhile generated a revenue of Rs 110.49 crore in the reported quarter, up from Rs 50.29 crore in Q3 of previous financial year. "Q3 FY25 results show strong momentum in EV Charger business and sluggish Critical Power business which is expected to revive in subsequent quarter and next year onwards based on new order wins," the company said.

Exicom further announced the closure of 'Exicom NexGen Power B.V', its wholly owned subsidiary incorporated in Netherlands. The company said the subsidiary has not commenced its business operations since the date of its incorporation. The closure will take one to two months, subject to approval of the regulatory authorities of Netherlands.
The shares of the company had made a bumper debut on stock exchanges on March 5, 2024. The stock had listed at Rs 265 per share, marking a premium of 87 percent over the issue price of Rs 142 per share. Notably, the shares are currently nearly 17 percent lower than the listing price. Additionally, the stock is 59 percent lower than its 52-week-high record of Rs 530 per share.
