Aptech buys Rs 2 cr worth of co's shares via block deal

It raised stake by buying 2,88,542 shares at Rs 71.99 apiece. Earlier it had purchased 4,54,837 shares at Rs 69.42 apiece on October 18 and 2,60,800 shares at Rs 72 apiece on November 5.

    Aptech bought more than Rs 2 crore worth of equity shares of the company via block deal on the National Stock Exchange on Thursday.

    It raised stake by buying 2,88,542 shares at Rs 71.99 apiece. Earlier it had purchased 4,54,837 shares at Rs 69.42 apiece on October 18 and 2,60,800 shares at Rs 72 apiece on November 5.

    Rare Equity Private Limited is the biggest shareholder in promoter category with holding of 23.28 percent stake followed by Rakesh Jhunjhunwala and his wife together hold 14.35 percent stake.

    Aptech’s stock closed at Rs 72.20, down 0.07 percent on the NSE. In the last one year, it surged over 9 percent. The share touched its 52-week high Rs 77.25 and 52-week low Rs 40.25 on November 07, 2013 and March 20, 2013, respectively. Currently, it is 6.54 percent below its 52-week high and 79.38 percent above its 52-week low. Market capitalisation of the company currently stands at Rs 327.34 crore.
