GMR to sell 30% stake in GMR Energy; stock reacts

    GMR Infrastructure touched an intraday high of Rs 27.95 and an intraday low of Rs 27.40. At 09:22 hrs the share was quoting at Rs 27.55, up Rs 0.65, or 2.42%.


    The company is going to sell 30% stake in GMR Energy to Petronas International. GMR Energy is a GMR's Singapore-based wholly-owned subsidiary. The stake sale is subject to approval of lenders, reports CNBC-TV18.


    The company has bagged Kishangarh-Ahmedabad mega highway contract of 555 km, reports CNBC-TV18.
     
    It was trading with volumes of 90,967 shares. In the previous trading session, the share closed down 5.11% or Rs 1.45 at Rs 26.90.
