    Rural infra dev fund corpus raised to Rs 18000cr

    Finance Minister announced following measures for infra sector in the Union Budget 2011-2012:

    • Rural infra development fund corpus raised to Rs 18000 crore from Rs 16000 crore
    • Rs 2.14 crore to be allocated towards infra development
    • Infra financial commission to provide assistance to infra projects

    At 11:43 hrs Hindustan Construction Company was quoting at Rs 34.50, up Rs 0.80, or 2.37%.

    At 11:43 hrs IVRCL Infrastructure and Projects was quoting at Rs 71.30, up Rs 2.70, or 3.94%.

    At 11:43 hrs GMR Infrastructure was quoting at Rs 40.65, up Rs 0.75, or 1.88%.
